Kinda seems like if you preformed that with a solid paint or vinel you could then leagally utilize HIDs due to the modified horizon of the beam? correct or am I trippin?

The best way to really get a "functional" cutoff would be to just retrofit projectors in some H4 housings. I really can't see the angry eye mod as being a substitute for a proper cutoff.

Its not intended to be a "proper" cut off... we all know real projectors are they right way to do it but its either el cheapo projectors or somewat expensive true projectors.. This would just help with glare. maybe but no much..

I did this to my Cherokee a few weeks ago too. I started by testing out the look with electrical tape, then ended up deciding I liked it and used 3 coats of black spray paint. So far no legal issues (cops notice the 4 doors missing more than the Angry eyes.. lol).

Also, my Cherokee lighting wasn't so great to start with, so not much affect with this done (plus, I use the spotlight if it's real bad).
