aluminum roof rack?
has anyone ever built one? or seen one? im thinking about building one for light weight reasons. just wondering if theres any down side to aluminum because i dont see people building them. also whats the price comparison to steel?

emt conduit, not aluminum but still very light. i have not made one yet but i plan to with my next pay check, this guy really seams to like his though, cheap and strong enough.
