I ordered them on april 13. i was going to ebay order them but i want to save them money by getting them direct from them. it seem they care about there ebay customers more. i hope i am wrong

Well i like what there parts look like but there support seem to be 99.5% crap. i called a few times and left messages. but had no reply back. this is so annoying to deal with. the parts I ordered the bumper mounts for the xj.



I dont mind waiting for something good if they let you know there behind. but if there is no info on where my stuff is i get very mad. I was going to order other things but know i am not. they lost my business most likely

 

7 business days isnt much of a wait first off. second, he is a one man shop.

 

I heard AJ had a fire at his home or Shop, not sure which.

Cut the guy some slack, he's an honest and stand up guy.

In his defense, he probably didn't know about the fire, or that he's a one-man operation.

But to the OP...I understand it can be frustrating to have to wait for parts, but a week really isn't that long to wait, all things considered.

 

no i dont feel like a *******. i have a plumbing and drain business and i would let people know whats going on if some thing happened if they where a waiting customer. and its not the wait it the lack of contact. it sucks and i feel bad about that. i am a nice guy with a jeep with out a bumper. But it sucks when you ordered 7 things and they all came in 2 to 4 days and i didnt even hear from him. And read my whole thread

 

ya but i bet he has alot more customers that order stuff from him in a day then you do plumbing work. so for him it is probably not doable for him to call all of his customers and say hey sorry my house is on fire right now so you will not get your parts in the next day or so like the other parts you ordered.

 

Plus what if all is customer information was lost in the fire? I had something like that happen when I made Chailmail. House was broken into and they stole my desktop and laptop. Had all my orders and costumer database in those machines. Couldn't call any of them, or send them a message. Had to wait for them to email me or call, and for email I had a month before I had a new computer and before that it was when I could check it from a friends house.

But ya, he should call... unless he's laid up in the hospital recovering...

Oh, and FYI, I know that when I order something from JCR that its a month (minimum) before I know that I might get it.

It sucks that you got to wait for your stuff, there is one rule i go by and that is not taking a part off until the new one is in my hand, maybe its cause i hand out parts all day long and see this happen alot with a couple of tec's that pull the parts off a car before ordering them then they sit there waiting on parts and cant pull anything else in cause they have the thing apart already
i had a guy yesterday that did an oil change on a jeep compass (i work at a ford dealer) he drained the oil and pulled the filter off then came to get the new filter, we didnt have it he had to wait about an hr before the new one came in he was *****ing a moaning every 5 min about how he cant pull it out to get something else in
order from NATES4X4 and see how long you wait for your bumper to go on

Maybe because that was simply a Part/Piece...

From JCR Website:

* Steering 10 - 12 days*
* Parts/Pieces 1 - 8 days*
* XJ Armor 5 - 10 days*

Regardless, small shops like JCR and AJ's usually build to order, minus parts/pieces. Simple research yields great dividends.

 

well my parts are on the way. he is a great guy and he agreed with me. i told him about this thread. but he is a really great guy and so am I. also i only order a simple piece of metal

It was nice to talk to him
