Default AEV Jeep Cherokee

AEV did a cherokee conversion years ago when the cherokee was still being produced. I had a picture of it but im wanting some specs. Naxja has a thread on it but it is **** poor. The jeep im looking for is silver, arb front bumper, bfg at's (i think), and some ipf lights up front, What are the lift specs tire size etc...anyone? Personally i think the AEV cherokee is the cleanest best looking cherokee around.

Nah, just the link thats above...If you google aev cherokee youll see just a few pictures. AEV only did 2 xj's...the silver/goldish one above, and their "Africana" cherokee.

So AEV won't be building another Cherokee or putting and parts into production I decided to under take the task and show that a terrific expedition vehicle can be built on a budget(yeah right). So I grabbed the Quadratec catalog and I grabbed the Mopar catalog, (Mopar has discontinued all performance and replacement trim parts for the XJ). Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I am a CJD Dealer and one of two AEV authorized dealers in Michigan. A long time customer had an XJ Limited that he wanted to replace, I bought it without hesitation or putting it on a lift. As it happens this vehicle is identical to the very first car I sold thirteen years ago. My body shop has already stripped it to the shell and it is currently at the media blaster. Here is the list of parts waiting to be installed below.
Freshly built Golen 4.6 L stroker (thanks Chad)

Bulletproof Steering setup
ARB front winch bumper with bull bar

Warn rock sliders
WARN 9.5cti winch
2 IPF 968 lights(100watts)

IPF Headlamp conversion with fatboy bulbs
4 Hella Black Magic
ARB Roof rack with Cherokee mounting kit
Warn Rear bumper and tire carrier with top rack and jerry can mount
Rock Krawler 4.5 lift

BF Goodrich AT/R 33x12.50x17
American Expedition Vehicles 17x 8.5 Pintler beadlocks in argent
Tomken gas tank skid
There is probably plenty more that I forgot, but it is a work in progress. I can't decide on the color, either anvil with a white top or white with anvil top. I am even considering Bonatti Gray with anvil... not sure stay tuned

Holy old thread.
Over time I've come to realize that while the aev xj was cool, and capable...I can make something way more functional.
