Probably my best memory of Power Wheeling was my friends grandparents owning the grocery store in town. They let us go in there after closing and race around the aisles.. It's a small country store so the aisles were proportionally small.. I don't think we broke anything, but I only remember doing it once..

Although there's a trend toward get-in-and-drive, Jeep has a more specific problem: having been bought by Chrysler. Chrysler/Fiat will never allow Jeep to have a pickup or any of these high-utility vehicles again because they think to do so would cannibalize their Ram truck business. It would pull some business from Ram and draw in some customers from other brands, but they don't think the modest increase overall would pay for the cost of having separate truck brands. Ram would be less profitable, and the new Jeep truck would not be profitable enough to justify it. It's why they killed the Comanche and why they don't ever build any of these cool concepts that show up at the car shows. Jeep is now an SUV forever and always.

I like this old dealer video. People see my J4600 and have no idea what it is.
