accident while doorless
No I haven't. I have never been doorless. But I. Will go doorless. Life's not permanent there's no sense in cowering behind doors. If I'm gonna get in a bad wreck it's gonna be a bad week with or without doors. Just matters whether the cards are right for you to be seriously injured. Just wear your seatbelt.

seems like so far no one has been. im sure people have been in accidents but it all depends the angle that you get hit if it will hurt you. theres a higher risk of being injured in an accident because the doors arent protecting you. if u live in a high traffic area then be cautious but if theres cows and fields around you dont worry. my issue with doorless is more concerned about being pulled over and fined.

Getting hurt from an accident while doorless is like asking if your going to get an STD from a hooker without protection, question isnt 'if' but when!
Edit: forgot to answer... I have never been doorless, and don't know if I ever will... This thing tweaks with the doors on... Maybe after I get frame stiffeners someday... But for now. No I haven't

I'm not worried about legality in Virginia... I have a flowmaster muffler(illegal), three inches of lift(over max bumper height), and god knows what else...
In Virginia, TECHNICALLY, it's not legal. If the Door is not designed from the factory to be removable, then it's considered part of the safety equipment. removal of any factory safety equipment is not legal in this state. Saying that, the Police don't know enough about the laws anyways to enforce it...

Thats open to interpretation.
Wrangler doors are held on by two nuts on the bottom of the hinges. Those need to be removed with a toll if you want to take a door off.
Our doors unbolt with 6 bolts. You don't HAVE to cut anything.
So...minor technicality ...

Gotta remember- they don't just write the laws for jeeps... What about the yahoo driving around doorless in his four door Honda Civic?
