Had this issue on a previous '99 Cherokee (which I killed by flipping it down a mountainside...); replacement '99 does the same thing: airbag light comes on and 1) all gauges die, 2) the little (4) gauges stay live but the tach & speedo die, or 3) they come and go with no apparent reason; mechanic fixed it on '99.1 by adding a new ground; tried that on this one, but issue continues; any ideas/solutions? Much appreciated.

 

My 98 does the same thing except every gauge dies and airbag light comes on. No solution yet other then smacking the dash LOL
