im looking for motors for my auto windows front left and right...ive looked on several sites and i need the part # and i cant seem to find it...ac doesnt work so im getting desperate before it gets so hot i cant stand it...any and all help will be greatly appreciated...TIA......Sheila

 

Call me crazy, but I just typed in to a search engine for window regulator, and got back TONS of results for ""Jeep Cherokee XJ window regulators"".

 

Are you sure it's not the switches ? I work at a car wash and lots of people let water / rain get in and it trashes the switch. My XJ locks and window switches work when it wants to. Even number days of the month or half moons or something. XJs have a lot of character so I'd check that before digging out the motor .

 

Okay, you're crazy. But quite correct on this. Those things are all over the place. Even on Amazon.

 

yes im sure...it rolled down and wouldnt go back up...motor was still making noise but it was stuck...had to rig a mount to make it stay up...ive found several parts....but i have NO clue which one is the right one...i appreciate any and all help...im desperate

 

That sounds like it’s a bad regulator.

 

Which technically the motor is attached. Not sure if the motors are available separately. I know we all like to encourage people to search for themselves but what the hay.
