Default Stuck in 4WD Low - Service 4WD - 4WD wont disengage - Error C1403-92

Hi,
I am having the following issue with my GC Overland 2015.
Few weeks back 'service 4WD' popped up while driving and 4WD was getting switched off - back to normal with engine off/on.
Then I tried to put 4WD Low. I was able to do so but the car is now stuck in 4WD Low, unable to disengage 4wd low.
I tried disconnecting the battery for long time, made sure I do the procedure correctly etc.
Also now, when I start the engine is shows '4WD Unavailable' followed by 'Service 4WD' and 'Service Air Suspension'. It looks like 4WD switch does nothing, basically cannot do anything with 4WD now.

I bought ODBII connector and some software to read the codes. The following codes appeared on DTCM.
C1403-92 - Transfer Case Range Position Sensor-Performance or Incorrect Operation
C1438-00 - Transfer Case Differential Clutch Worn-

I hope it is the second one, as it sounds like whole TC would need to be repaired or replaced.
I hope it the Sensor.

Now the questions I have:
1) Is there any way to disengage 4WD Low manually? I have seen some youtube video that someone took the TC motor off and rotate the **** by hand to switch from 4WD Low on some older Jeep
2) It looks like the sensor MOPAR number is 68026952AA. But for some reason it shows compatible only with 5.7 not 3.6 on ebay.
When I look at the one on my TC it looks exactly as that one on the picture
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Transfer-Case-Range-Position-Sensor-MOPAR-68026952AA/253486191909?fits=Make%3AJeep&epid=222983453&hash= item3b04f45525:g:HxoAAOSwnBRboKEi:rk:3f:1

Anyone knows if there is any other sensor for 3.6?

3) I cannot unscrew the sensor, it looks like some special type of tool is needed. Does anyone have experience replacing those sensors?

4) Does this sensor need flashing when replaced?

Thanks for your help!!

Hey. Reviving this post to see what you came to find out with your issues. Was the sensor the fix to this problem? Currently in a similar situation, transfer case seems to be inoperable and won't come out of 4low.. got the exact same codes. Anything helps! Thanks!
