is 97 a good year for cherokee's?
i already own a lifted 94 but im gona go look at a 97 cherokee sport its gona be a stock dd for the wife so no lift or suspension upgrades. is there any pros or cons to this year? and whats the deal with the sport package? also im not wanting to pay more then 3200 for it is that a fair deal? its got 160k. thanks.

^this x2^ I have a 2000 myself.....but if I could do it all over I would have really looked for a 99 (had I known more about XJ's at the time)....best year in my oppinion as well.

3200 isn't too bad, I paid 2900 for my 99 w/ 169k
I don't know much about 97s but I think they are essentially the same as my 99, which I love. But, if you could find a 99 for a good price, jump on that.
