The 97 motor is not a direct fit into the 2000 but it can be swapped.
The 97 motor will need to be converted to distributorless to work in the 2000
You will also need an adapter plate for the exhaust manifold because the ports are different sizes.
Custom brackets need to be made to hold the coil packs rail.

thabk you i totally didnt think about the distributer to coil pack swap i might give it a try or just keep looking for a body that i wouldnt have to make changes
