96 cherokee question

I have a Question about my 1996 Jeep Cherokee. im 16 an i couldn't figure out weather or not my jeep has a limited-slip diferential in it or not.

I think that all Jeeps came with "Limited Slip" Diff's from the factory. Couldn't really tell ya if you had an aftermarket Differential or not. The only way you could tell is, try to get it stuck...

go out and do like i would do (also 16) hold it to the floor in the snow/ dirt and see if both or just one spin.. do it straight on or going up a hill mine is limited front anf rear it suck..

How about just jacking the rear end up and spinning one tire? If they both spin the same direction, you have limited slip. If one spins opposite the other, you have open diffs.
