Hey guys! i have a 1994 jeep cherokee 4.0 5-speed. it has some ignition problems and cant find it for the life of me. i replaced the starter, and the ignition switch at the base of the steering column. the key will still not turn it over. i have lights radio air but it wont go to the next step. i can push it down the road and dump the clutch and it starts right up but still no key... im lost on what else it could be.. I NEED HELP.

 

NSS? When you turn the key nothing happens?

 

when i turn the key at first all my accessory stuff turns on (radio, lights A/C, etc) but when i go to start the engine it will click but thats all i got

 

No NSS in a 5-speed. Any corrosion or heat damage on the ignition switch plug? This should be in OEM tech, you'd get a lot more help there.
