What are my leather options?

 

Zj seats bolt to xj tracks then bolt right in I guess

 

I swapped '94 Limited Grand Cherokee leather seats onto my '99 XJ rails.

 

the cherokee limiteds came with leather from the factory

 

planning to do a zj power heated leather seat swap when the junk yard gets a good set in. pretty simple.

 

My Limited came with them. And I like them alot.

 

I have installed zj leather in an xj. It wasnt a bolt in affair. Had to modify the xj brkts to fit the zj seats. I will be installing these same seats in my newest rig. They are soooo comfy!!!

 

Anybody do anything other than zj seats?

 

DaveVmax did a set from an Acura (RSX I think).
WJ seats will fit and bolt right onto 95+ XJ seat rails.

Hudfabxj had to modify his Xj bracket do to his being a 91. 95+ XJ's can use the factory brackets for the ZJ/WJ swap.

 

Renegade seats for a Polaris ranger up front, mounted off the cage. Renegade suspension seats in the rear, also mounted off the cage. Renegade is out of business now, but Beard, Mastercraft, Twited Stitch, and a few others will have something similar.

These are what limited seats look like, find a good pair of these for cheap!

 

MJ bench seats are a direct bolt in up til 96 iirc.

96 XJ seats swapped directly into my Dakota, pretty sure you can bolt in a first gen Dakota bench seat in a 96 as well.

 

No mj seat was not bolt in.

 

I had one bolted in my old 88, but ok.
