Default 92 xj front end

i have a question im lookin to replace the front on my xj and i heard that the 97 and front end fits the older xjs i want to get some info on it to see if itfits bfore i go out and buy the front i know this isnt the right place for this question nut im new to the forums and cant post on the other threads thanx

i was under the imppresion that the old fronts are better then the newer 97+ hp vs. LP

i think he's talkin about the header panel.


i have one i'm about to do on my 90, but not in a hurry. maybe a winter project.
i also grabbed the fenders so they will match up better.
the only issue is the wiring. the new panel has two bulbs for the marker lights where as the older panels have only one bulb.
so a bit of wire hacking is needed, but understandably not difficult.

^^^^he pretty much summed it up. front fenders and header panel...wiring needed. here is my 91 with 01' front clip and 01'doors. doors are not so easy......

so could a 97+ front XJ clip go on an MJ?
