I'd remove it. If you chose to, the key is to either wait until it is warmer or do it in a heated space. Use a heat gun and apply heat to it as you pull it off. There's a fine line between too much heat and not enough, so you kind of have to practice a little. Then if you have residue left afterwards a product like "Goo Gone" or a good Naptha thinner will get rid of the rest.
