no reason to lift your jeep 8"
unless it's a mud monster. like that blue one ^^ on rockwells. which has thousands in it.

If your rig is tall to the point that it hurts your capability and/or you end up on your side/roof more often than you wish, you might be too high.

well back to the topic i am at 7 inches in the back with a 90 degree shackle angle and a saggy 6.5 inch short arms in the front and RE shocks in the back and Rustys in the front. my ride quality is great compared to a my one buddy that we put up to 6.5 with full packs and short arms. it all about what you pair with what. i love my RE shocks and my front is getting a pair with some IRO 6.5 coils and i already have 2.25'' spacers in the front too keeping those bc of the bumper i have.

and it all really depends what terrain you are on with 8 inchs of lift what tires you gonna run bc i don't think and 8 inch lift is to have anything lower then 35's just my opinion. i kinda want 35's for mine but i just bought 33's
