6.5 and 35's?
Im looking to fit a set of my 35x14.50 thornbirds underneath my XJ, I was going to use a RC 6.5 long arm, my fenders are cut now, or will i need 8" to clear them?

first off, please dont waste a dime on thornturds
second, 6.5" lift is plenty. throw them on and trim and bumpstop accordingly. you will have to regardless of lift height

Its not that I'm wasting money on them, I have a perfectly like new set in my building and would rather just use them for now, instead of going through the fuss of selling them and buying a new set

Spend about an hour each with a groover and they'll work as good as an all terrain. I run 38s with 7" and could clear bigger but I like the up travel.
