I don't know why anyone would want one of those POS engines in an XJ. The 6.2 has 160HP and 175ft/lb, but they also make a turbo version with a whopping 180hp and 175ft/lb. The 4.0 I6 that was in there before made more power, and torque, and weighs about half as much.

Cool idea, but i woulda used a better, newer motor. It would be pretty sweet to be getting better mpg's than most cars while running 35"s.

Ehh...like others have stated, i'd rather have the 4.0 I6. Pretty neat though. The thing that bugs me about that ad is the fact that it says "rare". It's not rare, it's custom. There's a difference.

the "rare" is what got me at first.... i have a 6.2 in a blazer and it's ok.... but very ecomomical it does get better mpg then the jeep but not once have i thought of combining the 2....

I call BS on 30mpg. I know people with CUCVs running those getting 12 on a good day. Granted they weigh a lot more than an XJ but add the larger tires etc, it ain't gonna happen.
