Default 50% off jy sale....what to buy?

So the local yard is having its 50% OFF SALE. So i went down and did a little pre shopping.

I have a long list of to do's on my POS...so here goes, and what im thinking.

Found a clean 96 in there..low miles.want to pull the dual diaphram booster and MC for a brake upgrade.

Injector harness...for the injector up grade...goining in a 88 renix

That stuff for sure^^^

Now, was thinking of pulling the hp30 non disco..complete...to replace my disco 30..I think the 96 had better u joints 796?...plus the non cast section..which im afraid will blow aprt with the long arms.???

Unfortunatly i could not find a good 8.25 to replace my turdy 35...looked for a 8.8..no go there either... if im gonna spend the money would rather find a LSD 8.8 with factory 4.10s...could only find 1 lsd with 3.73.

Anting else i should look for?

At 50% off..i can get axles for $90bucks , complete, and im lazy so the yard dog will pull them for 40$ a piece.

What else...sugestions???

You could do new door panels and such if yours arnt so hot anymore. You could grab some spare u-joints. If they have a govt issue xj you can grab some skid plates off it.

Are there any LKQ yards near you? They usually have awesome selections and all holidays are 50% off... I get complete axles for 50 bucks. No matter what it is.

there is roughly a dozen or so xj's there, no z,wj"s though..mostly pretty well parted out. the rest of the body on mine is ok...did find some "U graded" displays..or "gauge clusters there.

Could just pull shafts from a 95+ and put them in your housing, get rid of the 2piece on the passengers side, bigger ujoints.
You have to buy a blockoff plate and seal kit for the disconnect.

I could.but, im not sold on the huge cast in section on the front axle..afraid its gonna bust with a long arm kit??

Also thinking, if i have a complete spare axle..laying around.. icould truss it, beef it up..and proto type my cross over heim steering on it...all while keeping the POS mobile? That way i only have to deal with the axle once.?
