4 wheel drive issues

Default 4 wheel drive issues

HAVING ISSUES WITH THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE I NEED HELP WITH THIS ... IT WILL GO INTO 4 WHEEL DRIVE BUT THE FRONT WHEELS WILL NOT TURN ANY SUGGESTIONS I HAVE TWO OTHER JEEP CHEROKEE BUT THIS IS THE FIRST 4 WHEEL DRIVE PLEASE HELP ME.....:he lp:

Your vacuum disconnect is probably not working. After you put it into 4WD and park it, jack up on front wheel. Try to turn it. If it turns, it is not engaged. If it does not, it is engaged. The vacuum disconnect is located on the right side of the axel. Make sure it has three vacuum lines going to it and that one of them has vacuum when in 4WD. If they do, the diaphragm is probably bad.
