Cheap is a very subjective term.....

It all depends on what you want from your rig and what value you place on ride quality and articulation.

that's just it. what are your plans, honestly my bastard pack and 2" shackles work well. I measure for correct shocks (which most people don't) and and my shackle angle perfect. for what I do it's perfect (for now lol) but yes a 4 link has really no comparison to a leaf pack. but you can get a leaf setup to work really well.

As it sits right now I am planning to tube frame out the entire Jeep, so I figured why not go to the next set and do a 4-link. From the pics I have seen it looks like that would be the logical set for me to take and go all out if I am putting the effort into a tubed out Jeep.

Quality > Crap. That's obvious. He needs a quality 4-link.

If he plans to drop it off at a shop then I say stick with the leaf springs but if he has the means and the know-how to do this himself I say go for it.
