does anyone happen to know the weight of a 4.0 long block with the intake manifold?

Thinking about doing something that just might put those Bronco springs to good use...

A 4.0 is about 500 lbs wet and dressed with all of its goodies. Does that help you any?

A little, yes. Thank you.

I need to know the weight of the Ford 400 that I have. 575 is what I can find, but they don't specify whether or not that is dressed and filled with oil, or just the bare long block...

The chart that I found also lists the Chevy smallblock at 575 pounds, so If they truly are the same weight, I don't think I would have a problem...

I am thinking it has to be dressed weight, because it also lists a ford 302 as weighing 460 pounds and a friend of mine and I can lift a 302 long block and put them on an engine stand, done it many times.
