4:56 vs 4:88

Which is better, this is my DD but im going to wheel it too. the only time im going to be over 70MPH is going to the trail. 8.25 29 spline rear end on 33's.
I see that you in the PNW, and by that I mean that you prolly do some rock crawling. For this reason I'd say 4.88s over the 4.56s. I run rocks primarily, and that is what I have. It is no speed demon on the highway, but they aren't really that fast anyway. At 70 MPH, I'm at around 2700 RPM, HTH!!

I would say 4.88 as well.
They were not available for the 8.25 when I did gears, so I ended up with 4.56... which was perfect with 31's.
When I went to 33's, I knew I'd want even more slo-mo in the rocks, so in went a 4:1 for the t-case ...
It's worked out well, but, man would 4.88's with the 4:1 be nice
