Default 4.5 on 33x10.5s

Wanting to go to 33s on my xj, im on 4.5 inches of lift, and I really want to keep my stock flares. If I trimmed my flares a little would 33x10.5s be plausible? I have 31s on there now with plenty of room. I want to be able to flex still. I know 12.5s would tear my flares off and I really like the look of the 10.5s...any advice?

With the correct backspacing the 10.50s should be fine. I have 33s on my 4.5 lift, but I do have bushwackers on it.

I was thinking of tj flares. I want flares. Don't have to be stock but that would of course be cheaper. Tj flares aren't much

Go with 33x9.5 LOL Get some flat style flares to get rid of the rubbing. Or bumpstops like others said.

*sigh* obviously. he has two options, those are them. trim or bump stop. have room to flex, or keep the stock flares

I may look into the rustys flares. They look stock. Don't care fr bushwackers unless your running 35s+. The tj flares just don't look very good. And moving the stock flares up makes em fit weird.
