Mmmm for A 3", no you should be ok stock. My 96 cherokee is stock T-Bar with a 3" lift. I think 3 is the max on stock T-bar.

I just went and checked the center of my 96 Cherokee axle and with the stock T-bar 3" lift it sits over to the passenger side 1". But it drives fine.

I had to get an adj track bar after I put my Zone 3" kit on. Also needed new lower control arms as I was getting some wobble in the front and a little bump steer.

There are a ton of horrible reviews on RC lifts. Poor quality.

If your rear leaf springs are already worn and sagging adding an AAL will not give you the appropriate amount of lift to match the front. For 3" of lift you will either need an adjustable track bar or you can re-drill the hole and use the factory one. T-case drop is difficult. Some jeeps need them at 3" others don't. I prefer to do it right the first time and get a SYE but then your talking about more money and that's a whole new story.

Depends on the Jeep. I needed an adjustable track bar at 1.5" of lift. As well as extended brake lines.

I prefer to piece together my lifts. I'm somewhere around 3" now. I've got new springs all around, new rear shackles, adjustable track bar, 1 ton steering, extended bumpstops, new upper and lower control arms, extended brake lines, and about to do a shackle relocation. And I've got less money in it than most 3" kits cost.

I wouldn't buy RC. My MJ had a brand new 4.5" RC lift when I got it. A month later I took the lift off and pieced together my own 2" for it. And I've bent one of the RC shackles on my XJ.

I'm with XJmike. Really, they're only 31's. I've stuffed 33's under a bone stock XJ. Only reason I went to 3" is to fit 35's.

I ran 31's on my XJ stock with the fenders still on and uncut. I PERSONALLY did not have problems with my RCX lift, but that was just me.

I have a zone and have pretty much been happy with it. I got the new leaf packs in the rear and they gave me a horrible shackle angle. Leaf spring sliders fixed that for me.

You should also plan on new tires very soon if I am reading your post correctly that the tires you got for free have 12 thousandths of an inch left on the tread. That is 0.012 inch. That is worn out.
