With a soon to be coming RC 4.5 x-Series lift what would be the best tire size? Anyone that has this lift and the 2 different size please tell me what it's like thanks!

You'll probably have to trim/bumpstop for either size so might as well go with 33s.

Learn more about your xj before you dive into thousands of dollars in lift and tires. Case in point, you should know what rear axle you're running.

Easily searchable on here, tons of threads. You are probably running a Chrysler 8.25 with 29 splines, but go look at pictures of the different axles and figure it out.

With a 4.5" lift you'll also need a SYE, a new rear driveshaft (junkyard or custom), and rear axle shims. Also extended brake lines, I'm not sure if the RC kits come with those.

When you go over 3" it's a whole new ball game.

Yeah I just checked my Rear Axel is Chrysler 8.25 and my front Axel is Dana 35 so does that mean for the rear axel I need a Dana 44 I think that's what it's called?
