With 33s look into getting bump stops, fender trimming, and back spaced rims. Also consider regearing your axles. Id say probably 4:10 gearing and if you have a Dana 35 rear axle you may wanna switch it out for a Chrysler 8.25 or if your lucky enough to find one a Dana 44

31s are the most common and easiest way to go I would do it. It's working great for me right now and you can also find a lot of used and cheap 31s

If you have 3.55 gears in your axles 33 aren't to bad. The only time I notice it is driving into a head wind. For bump stops all depends on wheel back spacing with stock wheels I don't rub in the front except on lca at full lock I add washers behind the steering stop and all is good. The rear under full stuff do rub on my inner finder so I do need to add bump stops but that's not really a big deal. I'm running 33x10.50r15 if you run a 12.50 you will might run into different problems.

I ran 3.5" on 33x10.50's with 15x8 with 3.75" bs I now run the same lift with 35x12.50's on different wheels but they are also 15x8 with 3.75" bs still have no issues other then needing to adjust bumpstops more

That's good to know. Really want to move up to 35s but I have to wait until my 33s are bald. Your xj look great with the 35s on it.

Thanks That was my plan also but I lifted my YJ and my wife didn't like the KM2's in the rain or snow so I bought some 35" grabbers and wheels for the XJ and put my KM2's on the YJ

I plan on getting 32s soon and I'm running the same wheels you have did you have to use wheel spacers?

Nope didn't use any wheel spacers. Turning wasn't tight cause if rubbing on the control arm and rubbing while flexing was also an issue cause it limited my flex. I honestly won't use wheel spacers unless they are high quality from a brand company with many good reviews cause I don't trust the cheap ones that break and causes more stress on your wheel bearings and stuff.

Alright cool so you didn't have any issues with the wheels? Those are the 5 spoke steel wheels correct?

Yea the stock 5 spoke rims. Didn't have any issues at all except I the rubbing against the inner fender and lower control arm. If I had a little more money I would've gone with soft 8s or something like that with 4 inch back spacing
