Default 3" lift

So I got 33" bfg mud terrains today from a friend, and I eat to know the lowest lift I can run to fit them, I don't want to go above 3" because I don't want to screw it all up and end up deeper into a lift before I have to money to upgrade to 4.5" lift. So, will stock work? Or should I lift it a couple inches with trimmed fenders

Crazy enough i just put them tires on my jeep today. It has no lift, just trimmed fenders...ur going to want to bumpstop so the fenders dont tear up your tires.

Nice

You have just convinced me to lower mine back down to around 2 - 2.5in once I get the 36's on.

How the hell do you turn dude^^^^^

I run a 3 inch lift and 33 inch tires, everything is stock except brake lines, coil springs, shock absorbers, leaf springs. But its a short time setup.

Just trim alot and get ready for rub. Its going to happen at some point.

Just as anyone else would, steering wise i have over an inch in tightest spot...only rubbing i have is on the rear when entering an approach without slowing down...obviously this setup is far from off road capable...but its surely do-able till you can get a lift.

All I do is trail bumpin and mudding, I don't ever flex to much so a 2" bb lift would do me perfect

Just because you don't have a lift, does not mean that it can not be fairly capable.

You still can have the same amount of flex with someone that has a 4 or 5 in lift.

IF you moded the underside to have a flat belly. You might be amazed at where you would go.

I have currently a 3in lift and 32" tires. And for the terrain I am in, I will be going back down to a 2in lift most likely with 36" tires by mid next year I hope.

3" would be the best lift for those tires, but the guy above some how got it done on stock lift.
