You won't like 32's and 3.07 gears but the gas stations will.

I run 33s on 3.07s. Not bad unless you're driving in the mountains. Then it's terrible.

I'm running 33's on 3.07s as well. It's VERY rare that I use 5th gear on the highway, just doesn't give enough power. And definitely plan on stopping for gas more often ! Lol. Wheeling wise, I havent had much problems. Just keep er in 3rd or 4th in 4lo and she powers through anything. I'd say go for it, you can always re gear later on if you don't find your getting enough power.

X2 3.07 and 33s 4L will be your best friend. One thing that's nice about a 5 speed is even when driving in the mountains just keep the beast in 3rd gear. That's what I always do end up pulling away from autos with deeper gears and bigger tires.

I had 33's with 3.07, till I regeared to 4.10s. I couldn't imagine 4.88s your top speed would be about 50

My friend guesses 65. However my speedo doesn't work now. This jeep is off road only. I might drive it once a week to work 20 miles round trip
