So I gotta buddy who works in a wood fab shop, he asked me if I need anything built out of 2x4's. Whats something for a Cherokee that can be made out of 2x4's, open to any ideas

You could use the 2x4's to support a false floor in the hatch to give you added storage.

Tires like that mythbusters episode, well they were stumps but nothing you couldnt do with some wood glue, finish nails, and some c clamps

extended drive shaft.... 2x4 doors!.... roll cage.... front and rear bumpers..... sliders...... the list goes on.

Wooden pistons will give a better compression than those cheap factory metal ones
