4x4 is only for the sticky situations but yea its not wheelin until u put it in 4wd
never been in a 2wd though sorry;( and personally 2door xjs are bad azz

Checking in, '95 XJ 2wd 4.0.
Got her from a wrecker company.
201666 on the meter the first time I parked it in my yard.
On the trip home, it got an expected 15mpg.(that's blind onboard calculations, not mine) After an air box mod and an oil change.(plugs,wires,d-cap coming soon) I got it back up to 18.2 onboard (17.8 actual 3 tank average)
Third pic is the day I posted, my new girlfriend, she's going to be my DD.
