I need one under 400. And I'm not sure what spline my axle is. It's a c8.25. Year 1997

It's a 29 spline if it's in a 97. My No-Slip has held up amazingly, even when I've got only one rear tire on the ground, and it's a lot of pressure sense I don't have sway bars

Then why did you even think of doing a 4x4 convert? Lol I'm sorry, well then for your $ it does sound like a lunch box locker is for you. I'm not sure which ones are available for the 8.25, just don't get an Aussie. Great locker for all other axles. Ask in the tech forum to see what every body runs, or just google it.

I was gonna convert cuz some guy was gonna sell me everything for a convert for 300$.

i can tell you the transfer case is gone....not sure what else is needed but i can give you the entire axle end to end and the drive shaft back to the t case....thats gonna be an expensive ship, but if its under 150lbs ill do it for 300 shipped.( over 150 requires freight from ups according to their site.)

^^can almost say for sure that all together its guna be over 150 lbs. and it will be hard to find a transfer case for $100 bucks or less

Yepers * your rear drie shfr will bees to be shortened, you will need the 4x4 shifter, linkage, and random parts like ball joints and what ever else that could ever nickel and dime you to DEATH. Beleave you me, I wish I would have l listened and just got a 4x4. I'm just now getting done 8+ months later and thousands of dollars later... If you Wana wheel your 2wd, which I have done very well, and want to be alot better then just get a good locker. You will do fine.
