I saw my first 2500 today. Neat! Anyone have an opinion on whether it's real or not?

Tail lights don't like right they aren't the circle ones like on the ram trucks. Looks nice though. And what do you mean real or not? I know the jeep website doesn't offer a 2500, but that's because I just checked.

I know, but this one has Cali plates, so I was hoping maybe they brought it back over here.

You can order the parts from China to make your own.

Big thread on NAXJA about it.

I don't care for it, but to each his own.

thats an old body style jeep with a 2500 clip. look at the gate and bumpers and stuff. It doesnt have holes in the front bumper to mount the license plate. and the door emblem is gold and the front emblem is silver

According to the guy driving (who spoke very little English), a Chinese oil company was drilling near his village in Mexico. When they abandoned the well, they sold most of their equipment to the locals. He bought this Jeep from them. I have no idea if he was telling the truth but he was definitely Mexican, LOL. We were stuck in traffic and talking through windows, I didn't have time to get more details.

The badge on the door is actually silver, it just looks gold in the picture.

Looks like the front clip was replaced with a 2500. Still cool to see in the US.
