2015 Grand Cherokee Warranty

Purchased a 2015 GC with 75K miles. Called our local Jeep Dealer who said it is still under warranty... UNTIL he found out it was made in Canada. I'm in Michigan. Having the engine light continuously come on for a couple days, then goes off. Why won't Jeep honor their warranty?

thanks for the tip.. what I did was pull out all the papers from the glove box... which basically tells me the Jeep was SOLD in Canada... but the FOB for shipping shows the Jeep was built in Detroit Michigan.

Taking the papers with me to the Dealer.
