Default 2013 Grand Cherokee

Good morning, Just bought a 2013 Grand Cherokee. Would you believe in less than 500 miles i hit something on the road and bent the plastic under "bumper". Not sure what it is called. I put all the rivets back in place and popped the "dent" out but when i hit the debris the wiper reservoir was damaged. Very surprised that it sits so low in the engine compartment.

My questions:

1. To remove the reservoir, can i go through the top or do i have to remove from below. any words of wisdom is great.
2. I want to try and patch it if i can. What is a good plastic bonding agent for this job?

From google search images it looks like your best bet would be to take it out from the bottom. I'd try to leave it in and patch it. I'm sure some regular plastic epoxy would do the trick. I've used loctite plastic epoxy before and it was pretty strong for what I needed it for, but I didn't use it out something that holds any liquid. Worth a shot.

Congrats on your jeep purchase. Try posting in the GC section and someone will help you out. DOn't know too much about GC. Wish i could help.

Take it to a body shop, don't do a half assed job of fixing your brand new Jeep...please. Call your insureance company and explain what happened, get a few quotes and have it repaired correctly.

Don't patch it just order a new one and chalk it up to bad luck. Shouldn't be too hard to replace DIY.
