Why is everybody wanting d44s? I'll take a 9" rear and maybe create a new front axle similar to a 9". Or even better, a smaller version of unimog axles!

I wouldn't change a whole lot. Here's a small list of thing's i'd want.
4 wheel disc brakes
Diesel option
Small V8 option
Rear cup holders
Rubicon edition w/ factory selectable lockers
Bring back the rear tire carrier
I think that's about it. Not a whole lot i'd want to change. I love my XJ!

Leather Sport seats, better electrics and wiring *rage*, better audio preferably with optional stock subwoofer, heated steering wheel, bring the 4.0 back from the dead, 5 or more speed transmissions, Hemi V8 option ;D keyless entry/start, coils at all 4 corners, rear cup holders and a Rubicon Edition: lockers, bigger tires stock lift ect

i think they should make 2012's the same EXACT way they ended in 2001, or the 99's due to better drivetrain, except with a better cooling system lol

"Renegade" option like on the Liberty with Cutout flares, factory light bar, etc. NO IFS or crap, of course. I'm afraid that if they ever did revive the Cherokee it would be horibbly disapointing.

Engine: 4.0L upgraded charging system & blue top, flowmaster 44, hi flow cat and two core rad.
A 70/30 split rear seat and some rear cup holders, better headlights, rubicon package. They could even market it as Cherokee brand like they did with ram. Lol

i would keep it simple. i hate all these useless electronics on these new cars. And use real METAL as the body; these plastic trucks aren't holding up.
