Default 2012 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Sorry, no Cherokee remake for 2012 but if there was what changes would you make to our beloved platform?

Our "beloved platform" ended after the 2001 model year.

Name ≠ Platform

Except in China, but it is only a 2wd.

Fine - 2001 here (2005 in China). Better?

Point being there is no 2011 XJ and there will be no 2012, 2013, 2014 or later XJ either.

In fact the "Cherokee" name hasn't been used without "Grand" in front of it since 2001 (or 2005 for the nitpickers - though in China I believe it was the Jeep 2500 - not Cherokee).

Bottom line - I don't get what he is asking unless he thinks that a Liberty and a Compass are Cherokees and "beloved".

Drew - Who still wants to see a picture of a 2011 XJ.

How about 4:1 gearing and selectable lockers. I think that a rag top like on the Liberty would be cool too. Also some heavy duty factory bumpers and a hidden winch like the power wagon.

HYPOTHETICALLY... If they were to bring back the xj, what upgrades would you like to see...

Personally, I'd like a diesel option

2" inches higher suspension w/30" tires (just like MCObray's). Stronger seat pans, navigation, more speakers, and V8 engine.
