2004 cheroke abs light on

I have a 2004 cheroke with an abs light on. I have read that I could check the wheel sensors and replace them as needed. what else could it be the problem?

Sorry but ya don't have a 2004 Cherokee but you might have a 2004 GRAND Cherokee lol
Also you should post this up in the GRAND Cherokee section if that is what you have. Probably get the right place and answers lol
