Hello,

I bought a kickass 2000 jeep cherokee sport a couple months ago and it is the epitome of perfection. There are a couple things I need help with however. I want to put a decent amplifier and subs into the jeep but nothing too huge, just something to give it a little kick. There is a sony bluetooth radio deck that was put in by the previous owner so i'm not exactly sure what to get. Suggestions? Also- my AC is in and out- mostly out. It will work for like 5-10 minutes after first starting the jeep blowing out cool air, but then it will start blowing out warm air. I have read some stuff on removing the shims or whatever (not a huge mechanical geek, so really no idea what to do). Apparently it will make the ac work for a little while longer before actually needing the whole compressor replaced. Does anybody know if it works, or other options that might fix it? A little help please! Thanks...

 

I'd make a separate thread about the a/c in oem tech.

As far as subs and an amp go, it depends on what your budget is, what kind of music you listen to, how big of a box you want in the trunk and how loud you want it to thump.

 

I listen to basically everything...lol, a lot of hip hop and a lot of electronic stuff. I just need something to give it a little kick every now and again, nothing huge but definitely something that will make people here it who are riding with me... Sorry if I am being vague...
