Default 2000 cherokee hood and fenders

Just wondering if anyone knows if a 1996 hood and front fender panels will fit a 2000 cherokee sport?

short answer, yes.

the hood is a match, however, the fenders are the old style and have a square edge rather than the smooth curve on the 97+

also, the fender on the 96 may have to be trimmed for the plastic wrap around on the front bumper.

so with that said, you would be better off getting replacements from a 97+ cherokee.

If newer fender panels are used, I believe the header panel also needs swapped. Otherwise will have two sets of sidemarker lights.

yes, but the hinges are different and the latch is in a different location.
The vent windows and frames can be removed and installed in the newer doors.
