I've got one. I need to check and make sure it isn't ripped and messed up after work. $20 shipped.

Chief wasn't a "package" in 2000 much less as an XJ version of the cherokee. Chiefs were FSJ's

Wow! who knows what I have now. The door info says the truck was built in 8/99 and that is what the vin says. The doors have and Indian Chiefs head and Chief on them, and the front seats have the same emblem on the headrest area. Maybe someone swapped some stuff out over the years. I have gone through it on a lift and nothing seems to have been crashed or rebuilt. It shows 108,000 miles and the carfax is all good.

We bought it for my sons first vehicle and it drives and rides really good. With that said, I don't really care about the chief deal as long as its safe and reliable. It has dual airbags also.

none ever had those, iirc the side usually just said chief. sounds to me like you bought a jeep from a person that just liked indians...

This is the headrest.

This is the logo on the door.

Not that it really matters. My son loves having the only 2000 Chief in existence. RARE! I think that adds to the value. HAHA
