Definantly a direct bolt in. I do it all the time like every day. Hell you dont even need a lift for rockwells. hahahahahahahaha

 

You will see when Im done. I haven't even started yet, so it will be a while. So far I have $700 in the whole project including buying the Rockwell's and woody! Don't worry, I wont have any oil pan clearance issues with the front diff, maybe the drive shaft though....

why do people have to bag others about an idea that seems a little over excessive. its his rig, if he wants to run over cars and never have to worry bout breaking an axle ever again. more power to him. and ya he'll have to do a crap load of fabing to make it work. but then way more power to him since he made it work. Why do people have to bag others for a idea. Its just like drilling for oil in the old days, people thought it was so stupid, and look at it today, we do it everyday and dont second think it. Its his rig, his idea. let him go after it.

ok thats your opinion. if he wants to build a cherokee that can handle stress why not encourage him your not doing it so why do you care? like people say on here each to his own

Doable? Yes. Practical? No.

A 60 front and Full-floating 14-bolt rear should be fine for pretty much anything.

 

cause its people like that that end up blocking the trail all day cause thier indistructable jeep cant handle 2.5 ton axles.


i did tell Rock more power to ya. if you come on here asking questions, expect to get biased opinions....isnt that why we are here asking these questions?

if i asked a question like that and all i got was responses like these, i wouldnt do the fabrication cause over 75% of the people in the cherokee world think its a bad idea.

if you want to do it, just know how much time and money will be spent!!!!
