Who says you need egr cap the egr line off or run to intake hose or throttle body if you have an extra hose line!

I wouldnt use it, too easy to develop a vacuum leak on a fab'd plate to block it off. And too tough an area to work if it did..

I'd hit the local yard and get an intake off a 96+. Then install a new plenum and intake gaskets before installing it. I'v done these 5.2 manifolds a few times, lotta work to not get it right and have to redo.

Be sure to torque the manifold bolts to spec and in sequence. Over tightening the manifold bolts can actually crack the engine block around the lifter valley and webbing around the camshaft. Sounds strange, but it can happen.

That rotted line.. rubber? Have a cap on it? That would be the trans breather tube.. iirc it should attach to firewall. You probably need a new one..

Pics of the electrical plugs if you can. But i'd suspect they are pressure sender, are they single wire?
