1992 4.0 Rebuild kits - Help

1992 4.0 Rebuild kits - Help
Picked up a pretty decent Cherokee for a grand. One of the rods is knocking so I'm looking at a rebuild. I just can't seem to trust the idea of dropping in another high mile junk yard motor.
Looking at rebuild kits online is mind boggling. Too many choices & I really don't know the differences. Stroking seems popular, but I want this to stay on budget. I've done the Mod thing & just don't want to get into that again with this car....at least if I want to stay married.
Labor on the pull & install is cheap for me. Anyone have good luck with a kit I can pick-up online? Post the link please.
Also, just in case, what other year 4.0's can I use if I just swap out the long block? Any gotcha's?
