1991 XJ?
Hey, ok so I have a 1998 Toyota 4runner thats pretty built up, but I think its time to step up to something a little bigger. I have always looved the look of the cherokees but have always be skeptical of the unibody design.
Im looking at a 1991 Jeep XJ. It has 6" of lift. Front is a 3 link long arm with custom pan-hard bar and 6.5" coils. Rear has 4" leaf springs and 2" shackle hangers. Rock Krawler kit. It has a Dana 44 up front with diff protection and crome molly axle shafts and 4.88 gears. The rear is a ford 8.8 with a detroit locker, diff protection and crome molly axle shafts and 4.88 gears. Has slip yoke eliminator, and Tom Woods drive shaft. It has 35x12.5x15 Dunlop mud terrains on 15" crawler steel wheels with spydertrax 1" spacers. Custom built sliders and exterior driving lights. The engine is a 4.0L high output 6cyl that has 62,000 miles since being re-built, with a Napa full re-build kit. The tranny also has 62k on it. Not to mention it has a 700+ watt amp and 12" sub. Do you guys think this would be a good idea. Any input helps. Here is the link of you wanted to check it out. http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/1469433683.html Thanks!

So, you think a toy with a solid front axle would be better than this? He said he would probably take like 6,000-6,500 for it. But see, I love XJ and have always wanted one but like I said, have always been skeptical about the uni-body design. Is this a big issue, or should it not be a deal breaker? Thanks!
