Default 1991 Jeep Cherokee (just picked it up)

So I have been looking for a jeep since a few weeks ago, found an 87 for 1k and was in good condition. So I joined this forum and started reading, well me and the guy kept talking and then I found out the jeep does not have a title and I could not get a tag or insurance for it. So I started looking again, I found a 1991 cherokee for 1000 in Tenn. I and my mom drove up there today and got it.

What I know:
1991 XJ
Red
4x4
inline 6 May be HO dono
4 door
242k miles

In the pictures it looked better but allot needs to be fixed on it. But hey it runs and drives(drove it 170 miles back) and didnt have a problem out of it.

The bad:
Driver Seat belt buckle does not buckle.
ignition is broken, (The whole thing comes out with the key)
They didnt install radio right. (straight wired to the battery) nice.
Needs some cosmetics.
back pass. side tire is showing metal. Needs 4 new ones.
needs two new lifts for the back,
Needs a Tune up.
Needs a new steering wheel.

The good:
Runs
Drives
Has Bullet rims
Doors open
All Power options
has a CD player.

So did I get ripped or did I do ok?

$1000 dollars seems ok to me from what i can tell. it has high miles but the price. if you can work on the problems yourself they arent major and again the price.

ok so just a small update on my XJ

Fixed:
The Air hole in the driver side window that let air in.
The broken front Clip.
the tag light (was missing)
Fixed the radio.

Found a leak around the windshield that lets water come in, Am Buying some clear silocone to put around the window to stop the water leak.
