I found a 1990 xj with a 2 inch lift sitting on 235/75/15. It has a np242 with a Dana 35 rear. I've heard that the d35 isn't that great. I don't know much about the np242. It has power ever everything and abs. The price is $1500. Is it worth it or should I hold out?

 

pictures?any rust does everything work? how many miles on it... price seems fair if it is rust free and everything works... what trim is it? What state are you in?

 

It's a pioneer with 150k. Body and underside were rust free for the most part. I'm in pa just outside of philly.

well the 1st thing is it is a Limited not a pioneer... which is the highest trim level it looks to be in good shape the only factory things that look to be missing are the the gold wheels it is suppose to have and the spare tire cover... as for the condition .. Does the ABS work?Do all the power windows work how does it drive? any better pictures of the front was it hit?

sadly that is the going rate for a rust free xj in the area that has been taken care of...

 

Rust free by like I didn't completely look it over but I didn't notice anything major either. Those the only pics I have to. Didn't get to.test drive it cause the owner wasn't there. Looking at this for a friend so ill show him the link you posted to

 

doesnt seem too bad. the price tho is kinda up there. i got lucky and found mine fer 800. the longer i own it, the more i see why it was that cheap.
