1990 XJ NW Limited Package
I recently purchased a 1990 XJ. It's the NW Limited package according to its signage. I can't find any information about the NW Limited package on the Internet. I can find info about the "Limited," but not the "NW Limited." Does anyone know anything about this package's history/origins etc.?

I'm not an expert in this area. But sometimes those odd-ball packages are things that dealers did to help differentiate their vehicles. For example, with their ability to buy in bulk they could order batches of vehicles from the factory with options that wouldn't normally go together. In other cases they can add aftermarket items that aren't available from the factory (e.g. skid plates, wheels/tires combos, diff lockers, etc).

Likely only a dealer added graphics deal to make it look special. It was an attempt to make a "unicorn" from an otherwise standard package.

Litre was the spelling used on all the badges even in the US. Thats normal. Limited is a trim level not sure if it was on that specific year they kind of changed trim package names over the years.
Ive been messing with XJs since i was in Jr High. Never heard of a "NW Limited"

Listed as a 2001 Classic, but down the list it says Limited Group II. Which explains why I have color matched trim, no overhead console, no leather, no woodgrain. I have color matched, tinted glass, Icons (5) defrost mirrors, and fog lights. The dealer must have ordered it with a specific package. Looks nice than a Classic, but doesn't have the price of a truly billed out Limited
