1988 Cherokee, to part or not to part
I have a 1988 Cherokee Laredo 4dr, 6 cyl, 5 speed I am considering parting and would like some advice. Can I make money doing it? It runs and drives, but the windshield frame rotted through, causing a leak that corroded the fuse box which caused arcing and melting. I sealed the leak when I bought the Jeep a few years back, but the damage was already done. I just replaced freeze plugs, fixed exhaust and now turning on the taillights causes that wire to smoke. I already created several new fused circuits and am tired of doing it. I noticed lots of Cherokee parts go for a good buck on eBay. Economy is terrible where I am and can't raise any interest in it whole, even though it has had a thousand of new parts installed in last 25k. Posted locally for $1000. I've made money parting cars in the past but don't know enough about Jeeps. Any thoughts? Thanks.
